Strep-Tactin® 4Flow® high capacity columns are designed for purifying Strep-tag®II and Twin-Strep-tag® proteins via affinity chromatography in gravity flow. This product features a 4% cross-linked agarose beads coupled with Strep-Tactin®, a variant of streptavidin. Strep-Tactin® selectively binds to proteins fused with a Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® and enables targeted elution via desthiobiotin. It can be regenerated with 100 mM NaOH for multiple uses, offering a cost-effective solution. This product serves as an alternative to our Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® resins for proteins that are challenging to elute. Please note that biotinylated proteins also bind to Strep-Tactin® 4Flow® high capacity. For samples containing biotinylated proteins, consider using BioLock.
