Overview

Trypsin-EDTA (0.05%) can be used to achieve a single-cell suspension of human embryonic stem (ES) cells or human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells for flow cytometry or cloning assays. This is a gentler version than the standard concentration (0.25%), and has applications to many other cell culture systems in addition to human ES cells and iPS cells.
